Barcelona, Spain - April 17, 2024 - Barcelona secured a place in the Champions League semi-finals on Thursday after defeating French giants Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 in the second leg of their quarter-final tie. The Spanish side had taken a narrow 3-2 lead in the first leg in France and held on to their advantage in the return match at the Camp Nou. Barcelona started brightly and took the lead in the 15th minute through Brazilian winger Raphinha. However, PSG fought back and equalized through Ousmane Dembele in the 25th minute. In the second half, Vitinha gave PSG the lead in the 55th minute, but Barcelona responded through two goals from Robert Lewandowski in the 65th and 75th minutes to secure the victory. Barcelona's win means they have now progressed to the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2019. They will face either Manchester City or Real Madrid in the next round.
