The Dallas Mavericks fell to the Los Angeles Clippers 109-97 on Sunday afternoon, marking their second loss of the season. Luka Doncic, the Mavericks' star guard, expressed his frustration after a foul call during the first half of the game.

James Harden led the Clippers with 28 points, while Ivica Zubac contributed a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds. Paul George added 25 points and nine rebounds, and Terance Mann chipped in with 17 points for the Clippers.

Despite a strong start, the Mavericks struggled to maintain their momentum throughout the game. The Clippers outscored Dallas 16-11 in the fourth quarter, with Russell Westbrook and James Harden combining for 14 points in that period.

The Mavericks, now 10-7 on the season, will face the Clippers again on Monday night at the STAPLES Center. The Clippers, who improved to 8-8 with the victory, will be looking to extend their winning streak to two games.
