Second Round Update

After a hard-fought series against the Nashville Predators, the Dallas Stars have advanced to the second round of the playoffs. They will now face off against the Colorado Avalanche, who are one of the favorites to win the Stanley Cup this year.

Game 1: Stars 4, Avalanche 3 (OT)

The Stars got off to a great start in Game 1, taking a 2-0 lead in the first period. However, the Avalanche came back to tie the game in the third period. The Stars then won it in overtime on a goal by Jamie Benn.

Game 2: Avalanche 5, Stars 2

The Avalanche took control of the series in Game 2, winning 5-2. Nathan MacKinnon led the way for the Avalanche with two goals and an assist.

Game 3: Stars 4, Avalanche 3

The Stars bounced back in Game 3 with a 4-3 victory. Roope Hintz scored the game-winning goal in the third period.

The series is now tied 2-1 heading into Game 4 on Tuesday night.
