Jimmy Carter's Long Goodbye: Former President Nearing One Year in Hospice

WEB Former President Jimmy Carter shocked voters in 1976 when he admitted during a Playboy magazine interview that he had looked on a lot.

WEB Jimmy Carters grandson said Tuesday that the former president is coming to the end in a brief update about the 39th presidents health.

ATLANTA (AP) — As Donald Trump campaigns for a return to the White House, he often reaches back more than 40 years and seven presidents to Jimmy Carter, who is within sight of making history yet again.

Sunday marks 100 days until Carter would become the first president to witness a 100th birthday since George H.W. Bush, who lived to 94. Carter has already confounded expectations by becoming, at 98, the longest-living president in U.S. history. He is facing his final days in hospice care at his home in Plains, Georgia, where he has lived most of his life.
